The calendar is designed as an events calendar for use with the public areas of the Web site and the member's only section. It will allow you to schedule events, allow registration and collect reservation information. Users may choose to allow the events in the calendar to be viewed as public or private. Public calendars will allow visitors to see public events, while private events will be limited to logged in users from a Members Only section.
Authorized users will be able to add, edit or delete events, make reservations for users, generate attendance reports and name tags. The system can be customized to allow for online registration for events and payment by the acceptance of credit cards. The event descriptions can include times, dates, locations and a completely editable area for a graphical description of the event. The calendar can be linked from other Web pages such as the marketing section, online newsletters and/or announcements.
Administratively, the system will:
- Provide individual reservations that can be viewed, printed, modified or emailed to the attendee.
- Provide reports on each event that will show who registered, for how many tickets, how much they paid and how they paid. This report can be used as a check list at the reception table.
- Automatically generate the Name Tags of all attendees for printing
- Allow for registration by the Admin for guests who don't register online
- Allow for an invoice to be generated for each reservation and the ability to apply a payment to that invoice
- Transmit credit card payments directly to your merchant account
- Automatically email a reminder to the attendees about the event

Additionally, the Events section will integrate with the Financial section of the application, which will store the information about each member's events purchase as well as allow for reports and the application of payments by credit card, check, cash or barter.
